Lead Art & Game Direction
I’m happiest where art & playfulness come together — making games that are fun to play, not just really, really good looking.
I’ve been the AD & lead creative game design on several game projects, all of them being for kids. I love dreaming up ways to make games beautiful and fun- from open world sandbox adventures to mini games and developing tools.
My work has contributed to award-winning & top-ranking mobile games, including titles consistently featured by Apple in the App of the day and the app store’s Top 5 Arcade games. My favorite part of my job is that what I put out in the world is positive and inspires kids to be creative!
-
With a team of incredibly talented people- I develop & guide vision for new open world areas- making sure they’re always fun to play and experience.
-
Painting, 3d modeling, and making game art- always keeping in mind style and how kids interact with it.
-
Starting with a brainstorm- I create new mini games and activities thinking about functionality and how the game will flow.
-
I work closely with the engineers, artists, producers and QA to make sure everything comes together just right- from concept until launch.
-
I support new artists as they join the team & providing help and guidance as they grow.
-
I jump into Unity to help place assets and make sure things translate and work as they’re supposed to.
